This is my last painting of the year. I painted more hours this year than any other year. I also posted less paintings. I also rejected more, and I think I have learned a lot about painting. I hope to do more of it in 2013. I hope we all have an interesting year.

Great color - and those shrimp(s) are translucent! I am impressed - not just with the shrimp but with your bold brushwork, range of subject matter, clear crisp colors and your sense of humor so joyfully displayed. Love your work from 2012 and can't wait to see what 2013 holds!
