"Trois paire de chaussures" (on Van gogh approximately)

"And my aim in my life is to make pictures and drawings, as many and as well as I can; then, at the end of my life, I hope to pass away, looking back with love and tender regret, and thinking, 'Oh, the pictures I might have made!'"
Vincent van Gogh

Hi Rick, this is a nice painting - strong composition and blue shadows add nice color. I'm not familiar with Van Gogh's painting so thanks for the show of it, and your's is a nice modern interpretation. Why don't you have a price on this one?

Oh, you said "work in progress" so no price yet!

Marilyn,

Thanks for coming by and all. Hope you like the finished painting.

Yup, like it. My paintings are never "reversible". What does that say about the artist? Mine always has a top and a bottom. For those of you that did not see an earlier post, the shoes were then reversed vertically. Not even Van Gogh was that "out there"! OOOOOWA

Rick - this is a fantastic and unconventional interpretation for the challenge, and I love the paintwork on the boots!
