I painted this as a still life of baby turtles figurines coming out of the sand until, (for reasons unclear to even me) I moved them. Its always a good idea to leave your still life in the same place as you paint it. Much easier that way. Lesson learned.

Love this one, a lot of contrast, nice colors, rough brush strokes and funny subject.
