Nags Head Beach Access(SOLD)

Some one asked me if OBX stood for Out of Body eXperience. Only on vacation. This is a beach access along the beachroad. In a way this painting is opening an entire new scene of paintings to me. I am kind of excited about this piece.
Oil on canvas 20"X16"
This painting is SOLD.

Great brushwork. And I love the house and grasses. Beautiful!

Another lovely painting and I can see this entrance to the beach as indeed an opening to more paintings, Rick. I am reminded of how man encroaches on the world's natural beauty, not by the house but by the signs. I love your vision, Rick.

Wonderful painting, contemporary scene in the style of Van Gogh. Or at least the painting technique and also the color choices remind me of Van Gogh's work. Love your painting style. Excellent.

VERY COOL - and I especially love the little bit of side-view mirror in the corner....It really calls for "Road Trip"....(gawd, I need to get the heck out of CT this winter!!)

It's a special one for sure, Rick! (The addition of the rearview mirror is genius.)

Anonymous,

I don't usually publish your quotes. While I was taking the reference photo I was sipping a Hot Mocha Latte. The noise was killing me.

Thank you all. Nice. real....nice.
