Azúcar

I make it a rule never to use others peoples photos. Dawn, (girl in picture)

is a  friend and painter (artist, not houses) who lives in Kitty Hawk. I saw this picture of her and her horse "Azúcar"( Spanish for Sugar). I loved the light in the photo and asked her if I could paint from it. Here are the results.

A Walk on the Low Tide

there was something touchuing the way this couple held hands on their morning walk as tourists along a desolate beach.
