Crime and Punishment (SOLD)

I have always loved the way a loyal dog would "stay" and take the whipping for whatever act it may or may not have done to please its owner. Cats, on the other hand,(except very small kittens)(kittens are so  cute), appear to want no part of the judicial system and have the ability to vanish  the moment prior to punishment being served, As a species they are immune to constructive criticisms.

In the Pines

These pine trees are my skyline. I waited to see if this bird was a bald eagle or an osprey. Both have nests within a mile of here.I liked the way limbs fit the open space.

I put a rain gauge  up in my back yard last night. It was overflowing at 7 inches when I checked it at first light and another 4.75 inches this morning.  It rained a foot in my backyard. Its dry now and water levels in my canal went down overnight and are back to a high normal.
