"Crabe bleu" (real men don't do washes)(SOLD)

A painting of one of the ususual suspects. This felt a little too cool. I highlighted areas of the yellow green with a yellow white wash. I washed in a few more bluegreen shadows. Real men don't use washes. I have paintings hung in a gallery in Historic Corolla Village. So the next time you're in Corolla, NC. Stop at
Lighthouse Garden.
I have added a permanent link to the site below. When you're there buying my paintings, tell Carole I said hello.
Acrylic on canvas 16"X16". (SOLD)

Rick, I'd say you have a monopoly on crab paintings for the entire Eastern coast. You have it down, Man. I'll bet you can paint a crab with a blindfold. They are really great paintings! Hope you meeting was really good today......

Hi Rick, Thanks for visiting my blog and the kind comment. I think your paintings are fabulous and I love your sense of humor! You asked me what DAP was like? I am afraid I am new to DAP and I think it is really a great venue for us to share our art and expose ourselves as artists to the masses (not that kind of exposing!). I hope it wil be a good investment. I am sure you will have no problem with your submission and you will be truly exposed soon. LOL I am linking you on my site if you don't mind. All the best. NRH
