This guy showed up in a random driveby shooting I often do in the summer. I point my camera out the window and click away. I don't know what I will find until I download them into my computer. I changed the scenery  and added the dog and piled on a few more items in his cart.

I did not know it , but this painting is sold.

Careless Love (a study in canine)

Dogs seem to personify "Careless Love". They give it so freely to anyone who will accept it.  I painted a friends dog. I gotta get my own model.
I gave this painting to the dog's owner.

Stupid Dog

I tried to give this guy a "pastey skinned sunburned slack muscled" look. I was going for a look of contempt in both figures. I added the dog. Odd, painting the dog took all of 1 minute, and then I stood back and smiled. Oil on linen 14"X14"

What? What?

My dog lives a separate life that I really know little about. One day a neighbor came up to me and said, "We had Digger out with us last Sunday on the boat. She had a blast with the grand kids." I throw her a frizbee and she never throws it back. Oil on canvas 12"X18"

I really like the subject. Suitable for boss's or any authority figure you are trying to suck up to. Yeah, buddy, its all about you. lowercase unplugged dogs at the beach. When I post something I feel like that truckdriver out on the highway at 3:30 AM on his cb radio CLICK"..........are you out there good buddie?....., your the only friend I got."
