If a painting is complicated I often do an acrylic underpainting. It is difficult keeping that same loose feel in the final product. Above is proof that mucking in can be just that. I took a photo at 35mph headed north on the beachroad. The camera was tilted and I decided I could warp the architecture back into landscape. This was a fun painting.
