May Show









Here are a few shot of my little gallery in Manteo. I took all the shots before the pursedogs showed up.

Rick,
Don't think about Plein air stuff until after your show! From your drawing, I'd say you are a bit stressed and adding more goals for now is a no no. Fifty paintings is very impressive. I can see why you are overwhelmed about all that framing. I've only been in two small group shows years ago and the framing alone was much work for the few pieces I had. Give yourself a break. You have great work and will feel fabulous when it's over. Wish I could read the article about you. Congratulations on these milestones in your painting career!

Looks like you overtook this hurdle with flying colors (so to speak)! It's a fine looking show--congrats! I'm not surprised to hear about your sales.

Shows can be incredibly stressful things. I always tell myself that for my next show I will pace myself and paint and frame in a sane manner--as I go along. But despite my best intentions, I still always find myself painting and framing up until the 11th hour.
