Blue Runner (SOLD)

One day I stopped by the New and Improved Jennette's Fishing Pier in Nag's Head. I thought I would get some material to do a painting. This lone seagull was searching for something to eat in the surf. I painted  him 3 different times. Here he is.
Oil on canvas 12"X24"
this painting is sold.

Is that the same as cloning? LOL - I do love your seagull pieces.

What a beautiful piece, Rick. That shallow water on the sand just blows me away with its mirror-like beauty.

I think he won the bet - his buddies bet him that he could not get you to paint him 3 times - they had to pay up in sand crabs! Not only is the gull an intense character, but the water is wetter than the real stuff!
