The Christmas Present (SOLD)

My wife and I bought an older home in Kitty Hawk in 1997. Since we have been sporadically remodeling rooms. As a Christmas present  this year I decided to remodel her bathroom. It has been a life changing experience. Among other things, I learned that I don't want to do that kind of work any more.  The work is not quite finished, but far enough along that I can get back to doing what brings me the most joy and some painting, too!
Oil on canvas 10"X20"
This painting is sold.

Is this your studio?

Wonderful Christmas present! Your wife is very lucky. This job probably makes you rethink possibly hanging up your paintbrushes, right? Where else could you have this much fun doing what you love?

Yes, I was wondering where you had disappeared to and am glad to see more of your work. Love the red!

Bisous

Lovely present for your wife, that I am sure she will appreciate. As an owner of a 1900 house and having (not quite) finished a make-over of our bathroom, I know exactly how you feel!! Looking forward to more of your luscious paintings.

Funny how a do it yourself project helps you to appreciate those you can hire for the work. Wonderful gift for your wife!!

Aren't you done with that bathroom yet? Love this painting especially the reds but miss seeing new paintings!
