I have been doing a bit of remodeling on my house these last few days and after working in the summer heat it is understandable why Jesus gave up the carpentry gig.

This guy looks like me running on the sand the last few days -- I never even thought about how hot it must be for them! Great painting -- I saw some of your work in the Blue Moon Cafe in Manteo today -- and pointed you out to my girls. Just love what you do!
I love your beach paintings, no matter the subject. In fact, sometimes I see birds here near the farm fields and they are running on the ground much like this Plover. I always wonder if they ARE Plovers!
