I have been painting this surfer on two different canvases at two different beach accesses for the last 2 days. Indeed, and then I realized it was me.

Another great piece, Rick. Loved your commentary beneath too. Especially noticed the two different directions of the surfers (sign and man himself). The man seems a tad dejected; bad day surfing?
Maybe he is just exhausted from a GREAT day of surfing? At least that's how I look sometimes, not that I have a lot of great days, some of them I feel like a total beginner even though I've been doing it for 9 years. Love your brush strokes, they are so fluid.
