Bluedog's cow (Call Your Mother)
In the glacial lakes region of South Dakota an Indian chief named Bluedog lived a wonderful life and he had a lot of buffalo in his pastures. These two descendants spent the summer of 2008 in sweet grass growing older. I got no business painting buffalo on an island. The great-great-great granddaughter of Chief BlueDog came and stayed in my house. She did not scalp me in my sleep and I gave her this painting.

Crab Fight! (Donated to a worthy cause)
This painting has been donated to a worthy organizatioin, The Dare Co. Hospice.
The bottom of a crab is one of the most complicated shapes I have painted to date. Lots and lots of moving parts.

Run here somebody! (on painting addictions)(SOLD)
I have lost count on how many times I have painted these houses. There are other houses along North Carolina Highway 12, but one is running all around my brain. "Run here somebody, won't you please run here in a hurry! This old (house) has got me worried!"(Rev. Gary Davis)
