Head out to Wanchese

This is the view as you enter Wanchese Harbor, North Carolina by boat. Looming rusting wrecks line the channel. The place can have the feel of a carnival terror ride about to happen, with haunting names like "Diamond Shoals" and "Buzzard Bay".This painting was crazy fun to paint. My counselors tell me I suffer from CSS, (cold start syndrome) and then this happened.   I love it. I considered balancing soft and hard edges across the canvas.  Hope you like it also.
Oil on stretched canvas 16"X20"
